BSV JAZZ BAND
Formed in 2006 and with around 15 musicians in the regular line-up, BSV – BeauSandVer – is rooted in a community programme supported by three St Albans schools (c’mon, you can work it out!) The band are committed to helping build community through jazz music – classic, latin and modern, from Duke Ellington to Herbie Hancock!

THE BIG CHOIR
The local ‘branch’ of this energetic community fundraising choir was established at St Saviour’s at the beginning of 2022 and in less than a year had gathered 70 members and raised £10,000 towards cancer research at The Francis Crick Institute in London.

LOUIS SMITH
We are so pleased to welcome Louis to his first Christmas Tree Festival at St Saviour’s, having made his debut at the 2021 Beer & Fizz Festival. We took him on as our sound engineer, but when a few of our booked bands cancelled due to illness, he stepped up and wowed us with his smooth vocals!

Comprising of professional and amateur musicians from St Albans and the surrounding area, Fleetville Swing Band are a friendly and welcoming band who enjoy sharing their love of swing, jazz and big band era music. They bring to the festival their unique jazz arrangements of your favourite Christmas carols and songs – so come along with your dancing shoes and ejoy that big band sound!
